Accessibility

Access should include how we communicate.

AMA aims to make its website and first contact clear, usable and flexible. You can tell us what helps you communicate and take part.

Communication choices

Ask for what works for you.

This may include email first, a phone call at a set time, Mandarin, an interpreter, Easy English, more time to respond or an authorised supporter in the conversation.

Our accessibility approach

AMA aims to align this website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site is designed for keyboard use, visible focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts, descriptive headings, alternative text and plain-language navigation.

Forms

The general enquiry form uses labelled fields and does not require detailed medical information. The professional referral page includes a third-party Fillout form; accessibility can partly depend on that service and the browser or assistive technology being used.

If something is difficult to use

Tell us which page or task caused difficulty and, if you wish, the browser or assistive technology used. We can provide the information or contact pathway another way.

Email info@accessmateau.com or call 1300 188 588.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is reviewed as content and services change. Feedback from participants, families and professionals helps identify what needs to improve.
